Live in Washington and travel within Washington state to personally (and legally) forage or glean raw food products in our state for later consumer sales. These FOODS are raw food products of plants that grow naturally under Washington weather conditions and require no irrigation, which could include edible sap gleaners (i.e. maple tree sap). THINK OF COTTAGE FOOD CONSUMERS, FARMER'S MARKET, & FARMSTAND CUSTOMERS! Truly, JUST ABOUT  ANYONE & EVERYONE THAT SUPPORTS LOCAL, "KNOW-YOUR-SOURCE" FOOD PRODUCTION  IN WASHINGTON STATE is already a supporter of homebased food producers. Food consumers want more "know my food source" producer in these times of increasing food imports and constant food product recalls from national, mega-sized interstate food processing plants using hard to trace, large-scale  interstate food distribution channels and same-origin retailing of the same processing plant product under multiple brand-name labels!  Unfortunately, access to our Association Members Only page of professional resources is not available for this level of membership.

Suppliers and also those offering services to homebased cottage food and food processing operations, farmstead-type operations can b considered as allied supporters of home based food producers. Think Canning jar suppliers, produce-gardening suppliers, food packaging suppliers.  Non-profits with local food security, local food systems, food supply diversity/access and certainly  a local economic-growth focus are naturally aligned with supporting homebased food production and reducing business barriers to expand its potentials for thee betterment of entire communities, which means food consumers across  the  entire State of Washington can benefit.
